Privacy & data policy
Applies to the YOoDY web app and every YOoDY API key.
2. Data we collect
Account identity from your Google sign-in (email address and account identifier), the workspace we create for you, the API keys issued to that workspace, and the metered usage records of each twin call (endpoint, tonnes saved, circularity points, timestamp).
3. Data you send to the API
Material, element, textile, plastic and food-waste payloads you submit for simulation are processed to return an optimisation result. We keep aggregate metering, not a permanent copy of your design payloads.
4. Why we process it
To create and secure your workspace, issue and rotate API keys, meter usage fairly, produce your circularity reporting, and prevent abuse of the platform.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level access rules so a workspace can only ever read its own records. Keys are revocable and rotation destroys the previous value immediately.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, database, authentication, transactional email) and where the law requires it.
7. Retention
Account and usage records are kept while your workspace is active and for a limited period afterwards for accounting and audit purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your account data, and you may revoke any API key at any time from your workspace.
